Sichuan Yingfa Ruineng Technology Co., Ltd. has officially become a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), underscoring its commitment to sustainability and accelerating innovation in the photovoltaic sector.
Aligning with Global Sustainability Standards
Founded in 2000 by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, the UN Global Compact promotes ten key principles covering human rights, labor, environmental protection, anti-corruption, and support for the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. By joining, Yingfa Ruineng pledges to embed ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards across its business and foster a low-carbon, efficient photovoltaic (PV) supply chain.
Technological Strength Meets Sustainability Goals
A key player in China’s solar industry, Yingfa Ruineng specializes in high-efficiency solar cell R&D and production for utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and residential systems. The company leverages advanced technologies — including PERC, TOPCon, back-contact (BC) cells, and Czochralski monocrystalline silicon ingots — to drive conversion efficiency and reduce levelized cost of electricity (LCOE).
Responding to China’s “dual carbon” targets, Yingfa Ruineng is also pioneering smart manufacturing processes designed to lower energy consumption and emissions throughout production.
Executive Message & Future Direction
President Zhang Min commented, “Joining the UNGC marks an important milestone in our globalization journey. Long-term success depends not only on business performance but also on the positive impact we have on society and the environment. We will elevate our internal standards and embed sustainability into every part of our operations.”
Looking ahead, Yingfa Ruineng intends to deepen its ESG initiatives, refine supply chain sustainability, and expand renewable energy applications. The company also seeks global partnerships to help accelerate a low-carbon, equitable energy future.
