MIDLAND, Mich. — Dow Diamond is enhancing its commitment to sustainability by installing new solar panels, replacing an older array that was installed nearly 20 years ago.
The new panels are expected to generate up to 50,000 kilowatt hours for the ballpark, doubling the output of the previous solar panels.
This upgrade is part of a $4.7 million investment aimed at improving the ballpark, which also includes new locker rooms, new wall padding, and an expansion of the protective netting areas.
