NEOM Green Hydrogen Company and Fahd bin Sultan University signed a memorandum of understanding. This agreement sets up a three-year plan for cooperation in education, research, and talent development in the Tabuk region. The signing took place at the university campus in Tabuk.

Professor Dr. Abdullah Hussein signed for the university, while Wesam Alghamdi signed as the chief executive of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company. The partnership focuses on developing skills related to clean energy and hydrogen industries in Saudi Arabia.

NGHC is on track for operational readiness. Construction at all sites of the green hydrogen plant is 90 percent complete. This facility is the world’s largest green hydrogen project. The company is entering the testing and commissioning phases.

The memorandum details collaborative efforts on training programs, academic research, scientific events, and technical development. A bridging program will help diploma holders pursue bachelor’s degrees following the university’s guidelines.

The agreement promotes knowledge exchange between both organizations. Students will have opportunities for practical training, workshops, seminars, and job pathways. Coordinators will oversee activities, and regular meetings will monitor progress. Cooperation will extend beyond the agreement’s duration if needed.

Courses offered through this partnership will include engineering, technician training, administrative skills, occupational health and safety, renewable energy, and hydrogen technologies. This initiative supports national workforce development and builds long-term capabilities in renewable energy and sustainable development sectors within Saudi Arabia.
